Doulas of Oregon, in partnership with National Baby Co. , is currently seeking birth and postpartum doulas in Portland, Eugene, Corvallis, and surrounding communities.
We are actively growing our Oregon team and looking for professionals who are committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based support to families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
We Are Currently Seeking:
Birth Doulas
Daytime Postpartum Doulas
Overnight Postpartum Doulas
Newborn Care Specialists
Both experienced and newly trained doulas are encouraged to apply.
What We Provide:
As a member of our network, you’ll receive:
Personalized client referrals and matching support
Visibility through our Oregon platform and National Baby Co. network
Flexible scheduling and independent business opportunities
Access to mentorship and networking opportunities
Member-only educational resources and professional support
Priority consideration is given to doulas who are currently listed on the Carrot provider directory or qualify for Carrot, Maven, or Progyny reimbursement eligibility. Families are increasingly using employer-funded benefits for doula care, which means providers who are reimbursement-ready are seeing more opportunities.
Who We’re Looking For
Preferred applicants should have:
Formal training and/or certification for the services they wish to offer through our platform
Strong communication skills and professionalism
A willingness to learn and give & receive timely feedback
Reliable transportation
Current CPR & First Aid certification
Established contracts and invoicing systems
Liability Insurance
Submit to a background check
Availability for on-call birth support and/or postpartum scheduling (overnight postpartum care is our highest demand at the moment)

Conversations within the doula community frequently reflect the challenges of finding consistent clients and navigating the business side of birthwork independently.
Our goal is to help reduce that isolation by providing referrals, professional community, and ongoing support while still allowing doulas to maintain independence in their business.
